Introduction to Barista skills -
Our Introduction to Barista skills course is a comprehensive foundation for anyone wishing to become a barista. We give an overview on the history of coffee, green coffee cultivars, harvesting and processing. Then we also cover different brewing methods and principles of extraction. A short lecture on roasting theory and a demo is next. Then we cover the workings and maintenance of an espresso machine, we do practical training of grinder calibration, pulling excellent espresso shots and finally milk steaming practical. When you walk out with your certificate you will be able to make a good espresso,cappuccino and have a thorough understanding of what is required to do all espresso based beverages.
Coures starts at 08h30 and finishes at 15h30.
Charges includes free coffees and lunch every day.
